Shem Creek runs through Mt. Pleasant, SC which is across the Cooper River from downtown Charleston. The local shrimping-fishing fleet dock along the creek and at several restaurants that line the creek diners can set on decks and watch the "Catch of the day" being unloaded. The creek is magical at sunrise and sunset as the fleet is illuminated in shades of gold or red.
