This was taken at the All Air Cooled Gathering held every year in Flanders New Jersey.Time
This show is held in September every year and and usually has some of the best weather of year. This time was no exception, we were there around mid day with bright sun shine, little wind and a perfect temperature.Lighting
The lighting was what it was, luckily the sun was in the right place for where tese vans were lined up.Equipment
Used my Nikkon D3100 and the 18-55 mm nikkor lens that it came with.Inspiration
How often do you get to see all of these great vans in one place, never mind all lined up in the way they are.Editing
None that I remember, if anything I only mess with the contrast and tone and every once in a while the color using photo shop. Being slightly color blind I don't like to mess with color too much as what may look good to me can look pretty odd to others. There's a saying in the hot rod world, "I built it for me to enjoy not you". A little harsh but true and in the end the photo is for me to enjoy first and if other people like it, all the better.In my camera bag
I usually have everything I own, which is not much. My Nikkon D3100 entry level DSLR along with the Nikkor 18-55mm lens and I also carry a 55-300mm Nikkor as well.Feedback
Take several shots from different angles and vantage points. Good or bad I tend to go with the take as many pictures as you can theory.
