Behind The Lens

Location

This shot was taken in my laboratory back when I was still a student. I like to experiment with black and white, with pretty much anything as the main subject. I think I was bored at that time and I was alone at that time inside the laboratory.

Time

It was one rainy afternoon and we classmates got stuck inside the building from slight drizzle.

Lighting

The light source here is the tube light from above, lol. I honestly did not pay much attention to the lighting details and such while taking this photo and focused much on the angles.

Equipment

I generally use my mobiles.

Inspiration

I liked being inside the laboratory and I wanted to have something sort of like a moment or something like laboratory-only objects to capture.

Editing

Adjusted some brightness, ever so slightly.

In my camera bag

My mobile. If not, I make sure I am near somebody I know who owns a stellar mobile.

Feedback

Look for something that screams 'you' in every frame. No, that's not it. Just shoot it. Whatever you shoot today might turn into something of a museum worthy piece in a later period, say hundred or so years from now.
