This photo was taken in our backyard. No spectacular place, but she is a spectacular dog.Time
We aren’t morning people so I always miss the morning light. I take advantage of bright Texas afternoons and amazing sunsets. This was one of those bright afternoons when we were hanging out in the backyard.Lighting
It was just a beautiful afternoon and the sun was bright. I love her eyes and was playing around with the camera - learning how to use it. I’m still learning how to use it.Equipment

My dog, Shiloh, has the most beautiful eyes ever and I wanted a close up.Editing
No, not on this one.In my camera bag
I’m a beginner and just have the basics. My camera and a couple of lenses, a tripod, the charging cord and an attachment so I can take pictures with a remote control.Feedback
Have dog treats handy. Dogs don’t like to sit still long, unless they are sleeping. When working with dogs, always have treats handy.
