Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on John Bryan State Park trail in Yellow springs Ohio. There's a lot of rocky cliffs and this is part of the gorge. If you pick the right time of day along with the season of the year you can get a good view of water crashing through the rocks.

Time

Ground 2 or 3:00 p.m.

Lighting

The sun was starting to go down but it wasn't too low at that point. In the evening this picture wouldn't have turned out as well

Equipment

Just my cell phone camera, an Android, possibly my Google Pixel phone

Inspiration

I'm an avid hiker, I could see the beauty between the two trees as the water crashed through

Editing

I use an app called Snapseed, just to brighten some colors and enhance the clarity

In my camera bag

No bag, just my Android phone in my pocket

Feedback

You don't need an expensive camera to find and capture amazing images, although they definitely turn out a little better with those nice cameras, you can start out with an Android phone
