Behind The Lens
Location
I am a very amateur photographer so most things a a bit experimental. I took this on the kitchen bench at my home.Time
It was about 10:30am on a day in November, (Summer) in NZ.Lighting
With quite good natural light I didn't need to worry about lightingEquipment
Taken with a Canon EOS 70D with a Tamron 24/70 F2.8 lens on a tripod. The sheet of music was a download from the web printed onto an A4 page.Inspiration
I was trying to find an image that fitted the subject for the next Camera Club meeting which was "Reflections". This sort of came to me as I had been drying the dishes earlier on.Editing
Because the image was taken Raw in these conditions I didn't have to do much pp. Just run it through Lightroom to apply Lens Corrections, a bit of sharpening and that was about it.In my camera bag
The Tamron 24/70 is almost always on my camera. I have a Tamron 70/200 F2.8 as well as a nifty fifty and a 90mm Tamron Macro lens. The Slik tripod makes up the basics of what I use along with CPL and a couple of ND filters.Feedback
In addition to the music sheet, I also played around with diagonal lines and dots for the Reflection. There are bound to be other ideas you can apply to this concept.
