Athens gives Affinity a gentle back bite while playing. Athens is an 18 month old adolescent British Columbian Wolf. During play, wolves often test their position within the pack and you are seeing that here with him biting her back. Placing the jaws or the paws on the back is a dominant behavior. Affinity is the dominant animal in the pack and she will correct him and maintain her position.
