Tears of joy

This is my Ma's reaction to the surprise family get together I secretly arranged (with my Momma's help) for her 80th birthday. My cousin & her family even came in from Indiana to NC for the surprise. I didn't think she was gonna stop crying long enough to eat. Needless to say I think she was very very surprised & happy. I had everybody have family portraits taken in a specific color based on their parent (my Ma's kids). For example, my Momma & Diddy wore red polos so my sister & her son wore red polos in their picture, my brother & his 2 daughters done the same & me, my 3 sons & 1 grandbaby done the same. Each family had to get me a 5x7 of their family portrait & then all the 5x7s were connected around an 11x14 of her 3 kids (my momma my uncle & my aunt). Ma was always saying her family was getting so big she didnt have enough room to put out all the individual pics everybody would give her & she wished she could get a family pic of each set, so her wish came true on her 80th birthday. Sorry for all the ramblin but this is one moment-memory I'm proud of (not to mention the picture I took turned out pretty good expressing her feelings that day & at that moment).
