Hello Fannie. This is fabulous. Love the smoothing created by long exposure.

Location
This photo was taken in the Netherlands, in Zaanse Schans village. It was a rainy, cloudy, and windy day. It was very cold!Time
I wanted to make a photo during the sunset but the weather was too bad for that. So I opted for a long exposure. I took this picture on April 27, 2016 around 5h45pm.Lighting
No. The light wasn't great...Equipment
This was shot on a Nikon D750, with a Tokina lens 17-35mm, a ND2000 filter, and a MeFoto tripod.Inspiration
This place projects me in an another time. I see almost the Dutch with their strange hooves and hats !Editing
Yes. I applied a post-processing on Lightroom then on Photoshop. I worked mainly the colorimetry to give an old look.In my camera bag
I have my Nikon D750 and two lenses: Nikkor 28-300mm and Tokina 17-35mm. I save money to buy better lenses. I have two ND filters: ND8 and ND2000 and my tripod. During spring and summer, I have also my Nikon D7100 converted for infrared Photography.Feedback
Watch the weather! I think it's better to take photo during the golden hour. The light is sometimes fantastic! For long exposures, having a tripod is an essential.
