At low tide, this Heron was feeding from the tide pools. I was amazed that this bird wasn't afraid of me at all. He would stand in one spot for twenty minutes, absolutely still as he waited for dinner to swim near him. I was actually more focused on the lightning storm that had moved offshore and after 30 or so minutes was able to capture this cool lightning bolt.
