This particular beach is quite a surreal place & the lighting on this day just added to the atmosphere. The sun was shining so brightly, but being hidden behind the clouds gave the beach an eerie kind of glow.Equipment

This beach is accessed by walking through a bush track & then crossing an inlet. This photo was taken on my first visit here & I was completely amazed by my surroundings when I finally got to the beach. It was very surreal & I just had to capture it. I still get a wonderful feeling when I think about this moment & I remember saying to my partner 'is this heaven?'Editing
I don't usually do too much to my photos other than maybe cropping & sharpening. I very much love nature & I like things to be kept in their natural state, so I usually let my photos speak for themselves.In my camera bag

I would say, trust your instincts. If something really touches you, if you 'feel' that you're looking at something really special, if it gives you goosebumps or a feeling that you just 'have to' capture it, then you will know that you are on to something.
