Location
This photo was taken in the balcony of a hotel in Pattaya. I am a self-taught photographer and have bee taking photographs since 1962 when i was in school. I photograph anything that pleases the eye whether it be portraits, glamour, architecture, landscape, wildlife, automobiles, etc. In fact, photography is my true passion.Time
This image was taken in the late morning while the weather as still not unbearably hot and there was a gentle breeze.Lighting
This was taken in natural light. I prefer natural light as far as possible and make adjustments to my camera to suit the lighting.Equipment
I used a Nikon D80 for this photograph. It was taken in March 2016. 50mm lens f/5.6, 1/125 sec. no flash was used nor any other equipment.Inspiration
The lady is one of the most beautiful and glamorous models I have met and I have done many shoots with her since 2015. After all, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. She actually designs and makes dresses and models mostly with her own made clothes.Editing
Very little post-processing has been done. Her waist is made a slight bit narrow and the edges have been slightly sharpened. In my camera bag
Now I usually carry a Nikon D850, Sony RX100M4 and Nikon Coolpix W300 (waterproof). The lenses are the Nikon 50mm, 135mm, 80-400 mm zoom, and a 10.5mm fisheye. A small foldable reflector is useful. I don't carry a flash. The other items are the lens cleaners, a brush and lens tissues. And, of course, a spare battery.Feedback
I am not a professional photographer o there is no real advice I can give. I believe that each person has to see what pleases the eye and capture the moment irrespective of what camera or equipment is available at the time.
