When I was flying out to Iceland my goal was to see some snow. I thought I would be touching a tiny pile of snow in the middle of nowhere. But as we drove towards Jöksularlon I saw a glimpse of the icefield in the corner of my eye. I was squeaking in the car like a little girl in front of the windows of a candy store. I had never seen glaciers in my life before! Those massive blocks of ice in all shades of blue with the beautiful backdrop of the moraine of the glacier blew my mind! That smile that I had on my face lasted for days. I might not be a professional photographer but this picture just makes me happy as soon as I look at my phone's homescreen. I hope you like it as much as I do.
