This was one of a series of images created for Hallowe'en 2015. A suitable model was booked, original Victorian wedding dress purchased online along with 2m of veil fabric. The model's head wear was also hand created for the shoot. The two severed heads were created at home using two polystyrene hat maker's heads and several long hours with suitable face paint, fake blood and a couple of cheap wigs. Location had been pre-selected for its trees and autumnal leaves, this shot was taken on a bridge which forms part of a disused road.
The colour images were superb but I feel this is suitable for the Hallowe'en competition and also one of my favourites from the series, The post work was aiming at a slightly sepia tone to a black & white infra-red style image.
