A gleaming Trump tower catches the afternoon sun as it looms over Chicago's crumbling infrastructure.
I was crossing Wabash street while walking in downtown Chicago and noticed that part of the street was blocked off due to repairs of the dilapidated CTA train tracks. I peeked through a hole in the fence and saw the Trump tower glimmering in the distance as it caught the afternoon sun.
Given the current political climate, I thought the contrast between the ostentatious Trump tower and the much needed repair of a crumbling Chicago infrastructure to be striking.
