Location
This Photo was taken on Nordale Rd in North Pole Alaska.Time
It was roughly 8-9:30 pm at night!Lighting
When shooting the Northern Lights, it is best to have some ambient lighting behind you.Equipment
Nikon D3300 18-55mm lens, and a flash was used. Car headlights were also used to create a brightness!Inspiration
My grandmother was a painter, and when my kids saw the Northern Lights for the first time, they said that grandma had painted it for them. This inspired this photo that took months of patience to capture. My daughter had to hold the pose while the lights danced until it was perfect!Editing
Light edits like adjusted clarity. In my camera bag
My camera bag uses are much like my purse! All the essentials and more ????????.Feedback
Manual Focus is the only way to go. Adjust settings until you get the image you want. Take your time, and keep practicing!
