The photo is taken in Lloret de Mar (Costa Brava) There were few minutes after the sunrise, in the cliff near a small beach.Time
The sunrise started close to 8:20 am, and I took the photo at 8:45 am on October 31 (Halloween dates) 2016Lighting
I wanted to have the sun over the pointed rock, with the light reflected on water thatconnected the rock with the sun, like a point in the sky.Equipment
The equipment I had to make this pictures were: tripod manfrotto, and camera Nikon D90 with 18-200mm 3.5-5.6 at 18mm f36 1/160. The aperture were realy closed to achieve the sun star effect with the beams all around.Inspiration
I love sunrise pictures, they are all differents and the light depends on weather, clouds, water, season, etc.Editing
In this case, I just adjusted contrast and WB. Contrast to reduce highlights and increase shadows, and WB because I prefered an increased warm yellow effect in this picture.In my camera bag
Now, I have a Nikon D750 with a Samyang 14mm for ladscapes or an 24-85mm if I need to use ND filters. ND filters 10 steps and another with 6 steps. I have a Manfrotto tripod. Intervalometer, CP filter, extra battery and a hood for the lens.Feedback
In Catalonia, Autum is not so cold and the sunrise is easy to meet, you don't need to wake up so early! The weather is about 15ºC in the morning and you can go with few coat and without gloves or caps. Nowadays, this picture I want to repeat with ND filters to have a longexposure effect in the water.
