The evening was darker than usual and black clouds covering the skies. Not to my surprise, it began to rain in every direction with strong gusty winds. I rushed in to my car and I was simply sitting, gazing at the tiny drops of water falling on my car's windshield creating patterns like an artist painting on the canvas. Outside, people were running helter-skelter to escape the heavy rain, whereas on the inside, I was mesmerized by the beauty of nature.

Location
This photo was taken at Worli Sea Face Promenade, Mumbai. Situated near my office, I often stop by this place while driving back home.Time
I took this photo in the evening in between 6-6:30 p.m. It was monsoon season and the skies were looking great. It was a random halt at the Promenade to admire the weather.Lighting
Since it was getting dark and the weather was cloudy, the lighting was getting dimmer and dimmer. I was little tensed about getting the shot because after one point of time, it would not have been possible and you never know if you can get that opportunity again.Equipment
Honestly, this photo was taken on my Moto G4 Plus mobile phone with pro camera settings. I did not use anything else, just that. Although, it did took me some shots to get this final picture.Inspiration
The weather. It was very surreal. I had not planned taking any shots initially but it is what they say "Being in the right place at the right time" made it happen. The raindrops falling on my car's windshield were just like a painter splattering paint all over the canvas.Editing
Yes, I did. I have always been using Topaz Labs Studio and Plugins for post-processing my photos. In my camera bag
I always have my Canon 600D with 18-55 mm and 55-250 mm lens. These are kit lens but I have shot few really great shots with them. I also shoot with my mobile phone many times with manual functionality in the camera settings.Feedback
Mother nature is unpredictable. I would say the two most important elements in this photo are patience and opportunity. And this is what is the key to some of the amazing photographs.
