I was updating my portfolio and Bruno was one of several animals I photographed. He has such personality it was a really fun shoot.Editing
Yes I contrasted a bit a lightened exposure a bitIn my camera bag
Two bodies canon 7D and canon 1Dx mark 2. 100-409 lens, 70-200 2.8 85-145, 80-300. All canon. I just got. Tamaron 150-600 with a 1-4 converter, extra batteries, lens wiped,and lots of cards.Feedback
Shooting wildlife captive or not isn't easy. It takes patience. If the animal is out and can run. I bump up the ISO to about 1500. I use f9-f11 and about 400 speed and definitely a tripod. Compose the scene. Give the animal a place to go. If you have an animal laying down I go to f5 or lower one thing to remember with animals is to try for the eye catch. Light in their eyes. You may have to move position. For head shots you may need to adjust your speed a bit lower or or use exposure compensation for the right light. Expression tell their story with their eyes. Expression is also told by their movement. The thing I try to remember that shooting wildlife is fun!
