I've been photographing London from Greenwich Park for most of my life. Once the tallest building in sight was the white tower in the foreground, now it is more than dwarfed by the gloomy towers nearly 3 miles behind. This image is an attempt to recreate in the camera something I see at a different time of day. much tinkering failed to do so but did create a series of images that told more of the story. I shall return and take the photo I had in mind on another occasion.
The tittle refers to the poem, Jerusalem, by William Blake and the fact that we still seem to prefer to build the dark satanic mills than the "Jerusalem" he recommended
