Exploring a deciduous forest, seeking photographic elements, can be an arduous task. Often times, captured from within or viewed as a whole, it’s a chaotic scene of elements made up of branches, leaves, trunks and shrubbery. Our two eyes, dexterity, locomotion and the mind’s perception have evolved to make hunting and gathering less complex. This adeptness allows us to peer through the underbrush and seemingly erase dimensional layers of the scene. Our minds are a powerful tool that seek organization of shapes, patterns and colors which compliment our intended goals, or even, possibly, our survival.
