Motukiekie Beach

Motukiekie Beach just before sunrise, had to wait for the tide to start to recede before making the crossing from the beach across onto the raised rock plateau home to hundreds of orange coloured starfish, 40 minutes later the walk back wasn't quite as leisurely as the rock plateau was dispersing fast with the incoming tide rising rapidly, after a few hairy moments we were back on dry land making our way back up the winding hidden path through the undergrowth to the van.
