Of the three species living in my area I am told this is one of the natives and not invasive. He came blundering in through the cobwebs one night as I was out shooting some Neoscona on my front porch. We leave all o the spider webs alone until all so the spotted orbweaver spiders are safe and happy during their season. I'm not sure what this guy was trying to accomplish but he ended up blundering around so much that I scooped him up and put him back out into the darkness in my garden.
