It was evening around 5 or 6pmLighting
It was a well lit day with lot of sun but the trees around the pond were enough to create some beautiful shade.Equipment
Canon 70D with a zoom lens (55-250mm) No flash/tripod. Handheld shot.Inspiration
Beside the pond there were several monkeys jumping around, so they are the main attraction at that moment. But somehow I found this beautiful little bird at the edge of the pond drinking water, it was beautiful. It was far away as you can see there is some noise in the photo due to that but thanks to my canon zoom lens I was able to get a good shot of it. Especially love the water droplet coming from its mouth, add an extra element to the photo and makes it stand out.Editing
I did post processing in Lightroom, I use it to enhance the vibrance and clarity of the photo. Sometimes when we see with human eye it looks so colorful but when we the same picture in the camera/computer screen it looks dull and lacks lustre. So I use Lightroom to do some basic adjustments so that the photo looks the same way as my eye did.In my camera bag
I don't have lot of equipment to begin with. If I am on a trip especially for photography I carry a tripod, camera with lenses(wide angle, zoom), remote(timer). If I am anticiapating rain I do take a rain cover. If I am casually travelling then I will have my camera with one lens (standard 18-135 mm).Feedback
Sometimes we envision a picture and then try to capture it that way. Sometimes a picture just becomes beautiful and inspires others visions. Either way do what you love to do. Take pictures, learn from them. Don't let big photographers intimidate you, everyone begins with one step. Learn your settings, how to use the camera you have, go to great locations and sometimes it can be just your backyard. You have to love your photos and believe that they are beautiful so that others believe it too.
