Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in Jeruzalem during a one day trip to Israel when we had a holiday in Egypt.

Time

It was around the middle of the morning. The sun hadn't reached it highest point yet.

Lighting

Nothing really, I only used the sunlight that was there.

Equipment

This was made with my old Canon 550d with my 18-55 kitlens. No flash or tripod used.

Inspiration

The people where the only highlighted objects in the shot. That was the goal, that the woman looked at me was just a bonus.

Editing

Yes a little, I gave the shadows a little punch. It's just as dark as I wanted.

In my camera bag

Canon 6d. 70-200 2.8, 50mm 1.8. Canon 550d, 18-55 3.5-5.6, 70-300mm usm 4.0-5.6.

Feedback

Watch the light and watch the objects you're aiming for. If the light isn't there yet wait or move around a little so see if the light can do it's work. Be patience en keep your eyes open at all times.
