During my last visit to Torres del Paine, it was very difficult to find a clear view of the Massif. Since it was the beginning of summer, the climate is very unpredictable. The high temperatures, the proximity to the ocean, the glaciers and the pampa, create all four seasons during the same day. Climate also changes in short distances, with high winds in the pampa and storms near the massif. This, creates very different colors and lighting patterns, depending of the time and angle you look. This is taken during the last minutes of light from the Pehoe Lake, as the suns hits only some portions of the massif with a reddish color, and contrasting against the shadows created by the clouds and evaporating water on the foreground.
