The photo was taken in Ba Gua village, an ancient village in East China. It's a wonderful place to take pictures. There also a lot of fine arts students painting.Time
I think it was around 6pm just before sunset.Lighting
The light was perfect to bring up this houses reflected in the water.Equipment
I didn't have any tripod this was taken with a very humble bridge camera. So I had to stay still and keep my breath.Inspiration
I was intentionally looking to take a photo of those old horses and it was important to get a clear reflection. Then I found this few houses and I thought that the resulting shape of the houses plus the houses reflected in the water was very interesting.Editing
As I said it was important to me to get a clear reflection of the houses. I remember I edited with some app in my phone. Becouse I was traveling and I Didn't bring my computer. In my camera bag
Photography it's just my Hobbie, for now. When I took that picture I just had one camera, A Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H400, last December I've got Sony Alpha Mark III with the basic 28-70 that comes with it and a 90mm, F2.8 lens. Looking forward to my next acquisition.Feedback
This kind of ancient towns in China are very popular so it would be wise to go on working days. China is an amazing country but traveling when people is in holidays can be tough. Specially if you're a photographer and you want to take pictures without crowds.
