Bordered Mantis - Arizona Mantis. Studio Setting. Mature Female Subject. These mantids are a common species that live in North America and can reach lengths of up to 3 inches long. Female Mantis cannot fly when mature, while male mantis can. The common coloration is often green with yellow borders, however, they can be gray or light brown.
