The Hindus believe Ganges to be a holy river and they worship this river at various religious places. Varanasi is one of such place. Pilgrims and travellers through out the globe visit this place for experiencing the flavour of a different culture. Every evening a prayer for half an hour is conducted for the well being of River Ganges. This actually is a religious process praying for the pollution free water and environment as the river is responsible for the well being of millions of Indian.
