The perfect end to a perfect day. I was lucky enough to get a boat ride out to Rock Island, which is a deserted island northeast of Washington Island, WI in Lake Michigan. The goal was to do some primitive camping. Unfortunately, it was storming all day with 40mph winds, lightning and thunder, and I was bound to my tent for 5 hours waiting for the storm to clear. By the time the winds died down and the sky started to clear, it was close to sunset......PERFECT!
