Ran across this Great Blue at Kanasket Palmer State Park in Washington State. I didn't realize it was there at first as he blended in a bit with the trees behind him. He was watching the return of the salmon and steelhead. Right here is where the fish spawn and the waters were full of fish. I was happy to see the herron but was wishing I could reach out a little further with my lens.
