Location
I took this shot in Seville. It was the first day of Feria de Abril, one of the most important celebrations of the city. It lasts a week, and they build an entire neighborhood made of little wooden houses which the families rent (usually in group) celebrate every night. Entering the neighborhood is something almost magical: all the ladies wear the typical "flamenca" dresses, there are horses and carriages around the streets, coloured light bulbs and flamenco music everywhere. This photo was taken in the streets of the historical centre during a carriage parade.Time
It was afternoon, and it was starting to rain.Lighting
.Equipment
This particular shot was taken with my smartphone! I didn't have my camera with me, but the scene was so majestic I wanted to capture the moment.Inspiration
This kind of rituals and celebration are a great part of the culture of Seville and Andalucía in general. I wanted to frame this idea in a shot that showed some of the most typical things of this city.Editing
I edited the contrast and the exposure to make it look more "sharp", and I loved the result. In my camera bag
