This image was taken on a cold fall morning at the wedge in Newport Beach, California. Upon arriving at the beach, I could tell it was going to be a good session: the waves were breaking just right, hardly any wind, and the sun was just beginning to rise. I ran into the water and took as many shots as I could. After 3 full hours, I came out with this picture. All the elements came together for this one image
