While in Jordan, we made the acquaintance of two Bedouin men, who were kind enough to show us the best viewpoints for photography. After helping us climb a particularly intimidating set of stairs, we took a break and were idly chatting. The setting could not have been more beautiful--we were surrounded by orange stone columns that were thousands of years old, with amazing rock canyons stretching in both directions. I looked over at our friend and was struck by how picturesque he was in that moment, leaning on one of the historic columns, gesturing with his hands. So I grabbed my camera and captured the moment.
