The Hyalite Recreation area in Gallatin Valley is one of the prettiest areas around, in my opinion. I have been to Hyalite Lake, (which sits beneath Hyalite Peak), on horseback and camped in a tent overnight. Hyalite Reservoir sits below this mountain range where happy campers, fisherman and boaters love to go. There are also many hiking trails in the area.
