Behind The Lens
Location
Visiting the City Hamburg in Germany a few years ago. I new this staircase must be there. I took me a while before I found it on the web. The difficult part was to enter this office building. No key or permission. So I waited untill a person opened the door and I could entered this building. I had to work fast, because this was not allowed.Time
This photo is shot during afternoon.Lighting
I just used natural daylight. There was no time for setting up extra lights because of my illegal present.Equipment
A Canon EOS 6D with a 16-35 mm lens.Inspiration
Always fascinated about stairs and abondoned buildings. As long it is something special.Editing
Minor postprocessing with lightroom .In my camera bag
With shooting on locations I use my Canon EOS R with the 16-35 F2.8 lens.Feedback
Get informed well before you take the trip. I once drove 1000 km to shoot 12 of these stairs. But I went in the weekend. Stupid, because the buildings with these stairs could only be entered during weekdays.
