Now I normally don’t take photos of rusty old cars, everybody else does it so much better than me, but, on a drive around our roads and at the end of a no through road I found this forlorn sight………….alone in a paddock, shot at, batted and bruised, no heart, no eyes, and legs that can no longer bare his weight. Ah yes, he still has ID but it will do him no good, he is alone with the wind and the rain and the harsh summer sun, his companions, insects and reptiles that seek refuge in his worn out shell and the winter grasses growing high from rain and camouflaging his existence. Did he just drop there exhausted from age and long, long journeys, or was he dragged there bent and broken to peacefully rust away? So many questions, if only he could speak…………but he no longer has a voice!!
