Behind The Lens
Location
The photo was taken at home.Time
I remember it was in the morning, we were waiting for the photographer to come and take photos for the cats. We tried to play with time and had a warm up section before the photo shoot by the professional photographer.Lighting
As we are familiar with our cats, they get used to the camera easily. Only that they are too curious and always get too close to the lens. I had to wait until he got tired before taking photos.Equipment
It was shot on canon 550D, with no flash. Lens was a Sigma lens.Inspiration
He just look at the camera and looked so cute. It was an instant and so spontaneous.Editing
Not much processing involved. Have tune the hue a bit for not looking too blue.In my camera bag
I used to carry a Canon 550D with Sigma 17-55mm lens and extra battery. Now have moved to a Canon 1Ds mark IV and canon 17-35mm L lens, a 50mm pancake lens and a plastic hook for minimise reflections when shooting through glazings.Feedback
Be friend with the animal before taking photos. Prevent using direct flashlight. If not familiar with the animal, spend sometimes to play with them first and also good to have some snacks.
