Behind The Lens
Location
This picture was taken on a photo walk in the old center of Bucharest. I usually like to capture shots which look like they have a story to tell.Time
It wasn't that late, around 20, I think. However it was dark enough outside to have the lights inside turned on.Lighting
Although it is in the historical center most of the lightwork was on other important buildings. As such I'd rather use the soft light made by the indoor lights.Equipment
Canon 500D with Sigma lens and that's about all. It was hand held, so no tripod or flash.Inspiration
I was inspired by the atmosphere. If you would ignore any modern contraptions you actually not see (since it is dark), you might actually think you were somewhere in the 1800's strolling along the paved road.Editing

My trusty Canon 500D equipped with the standard 15-85mm or Sigma 18-250mm and always a spare charger.Feedback
Always look for opportunities after sundown. Different lighting conditions may reveal different aspects even of a known place.
