This is a hike I did with my younger brother in Big Sur. We set out to do 6 nights over New Years, but managed to pack food for the 3 nights. After rationing food for 3 days, this is the moment when we hit the top of the mountain 4,000 ft above sea level to see our exit with a handful of GORP to spare.
