Location
I took this photo in an office where I worked sometime ago. The owner was an ex trader and this old cash register was owned by his family for long time. And it was also used in the shop in past times.Time
During afternoon probably but I don't remember precisely. I was indoor.Lighting
I was in on office. Artificial lighting but no flashEquipment
Nikon D5100, lens 55-300, no tripod, no flash. I prefer to take images without flashInspiration
What inspired me is that I love old things. This cash register, aside being old, is beatifully decorated and some parts, made of wood, are also wonderfully carved.Editing
Just a bit post- processing. Not excessive because I don't like it.In my camera bag
It depends on what I want to shoot. Surely a zoom lens suitable for any situation, 50 mm lens for outdoors (landscape and similar), eventually macro lens or wide angle always depending on situation. Tripod the same, depends on situation.Feedback
You have to investigate and look for such object. For example between friends that have old things at home, going to antiques markets. In some cases you will have the luck to find such beatiful objects when you go around with your camera. Exploring our cities and our world is always amazing. I'm always grateful to our planet when I get back home with some new images. It's never the same! Good light to all and good luck hunting for the perfect shot!
