This was one of the first photos I ever took. It was on top of Granite Mountain in Washington state.Time

My friends and I decided to hike granite mountain. We didn't realize how bad of a day it was until we were around half way up. It started pouring down rain, and it was about 32 degrees fahrenheit outside. This was dead in the middle of winter. As we climbed higher the rain eventually turning into show and it felt calm and peaceful. Then we got to the peak and the wind picked up like crazy. It was blowing us around and chilling us to the bone. My brother was in front of me as we started our descent from the peak and I thought it looked like a cool picture. So I snapped a shot of him real quick.Editing
I never use photoshop. I will never use photoshop. I only use lightroom. This is to show pride in the original image and only to perform light adjustments.In my camera bag
I keep my 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 and my 35mm f/1.8 in my bag at all times.Feedback
Don't waste your money on a high quality camera. If you don't know how to find good shots, you are wasting your money. Every photo currently on my profile was all shot using a Nikon D3300. A $300 camera. I put people have own the best sony cameras to shame, simply because I know what a good shot looks like. Also, always, always, always use manual mode. If you don't know manual mode, play with it, watch a youtube video on it. Using the correct settings at the right time can make your shot go from a 5 to a 10.
