Location
The photo was taken at a waterhole in the Etosha National Game Park in Namibia.Time
The animals came to drink around midday. The poor Rhino was injured but the Elephant bull was occupying the waterhole and intimidated the Rhino by squirting water all over it.Lighting
Natural lighting always works best for me.Equipment
I used a Nikon D70, a Nikon Nikkor 300mm Lense and was shooting from my hand inside a vehicle. No other equipment.Inspiration
It was one of the lucky shots. I was at theright spot at the right time. Nothing else exciting was going on around the waterhole.Editing
No post production was involved. In my camera bag
I normally cary 2 lenses, a 80 -135 Nikon and my 300mm Nikon lense as well as the cameraand of course a steady tripod.Feedback
The advice I can offer is simple: Be patient and always alert. Lastly make sure the camera's batteries are charged!
