Late afternoon is a lovely time to be on the downtown Norfolk waterfront. My personal favourite spot on the waterfront is the old battleship, USS Wisconsin. This image is a 5 minute long exposure of (just about) everyone's favourite class of ship. I went for an ultra long exposure here to smooth out the water and let the clouds streak across the sky. By minimizing the texture of the background elements, the ship practically jumps out of the image!
