This was taken in my bathtub when I was living in Vegas. We had an oversized, oval shaped one that worked perfectly for this kind of shoot.Time
Probably sometime in the afternoon or evening. I was using Druidic lighting, so it didn’t matter when we shot.Lighting
I used one speed light with a large octobox positioned directly overhead. The lighting was tricky, as I was standing directly over the subjectEquipment
I used a canon t5i with… I think a 24-70 or a 10-20 wide angle.Inspiration
I saw some milk bath photos and decided to try my hand at them. I wanted to do a more “commercialized” styled and themed shoot for different colors. Each color has its own feel.Editing
I did! I used photoshop for some color correction/asjustment, high end skin retouching, and a shot of the sky for the glasses. In real life, they were really scratched, so adding the sky inside them helped add some atmosphere and got rid of the scratches. In my camera bag
Canon camera, 24-70 and 10-20 lenses, speed lights and trigger, color filters, WiFi remote, extra AA batteries. The basics ????Feedback
Find a theme, and experiment! If doing a milk bath, use whole milk. Skim gives an unappealing look. Add some food coloring and stir to mix!
