News!! I've upgraded from my Nikon Coolpix P520 to the D7200 kit package which includes AF-S DX Nikkor lens,18-140 mm f-3.5-5.6G ED VR. This is one of the first photos I took working in setting A. It's still more blurry than I'd like, but with reading and practice I hope to improve images such as this. The manual is typical - I'll need a book or even a course to really get into the proper use of this camera. I'm still keeping my P520 as it's lightweight and a great point and shoot with a decent lens to capture far away moving subjects such as the cranes I photographed. Post-processing using Photoshop can really help improve things as well - I just try not to overuse it.
