Location
This photo was taken at one of my favorite spots and it's close to home! I live in Texas City, Texas where chemical plants are part of the landscape. I love to go to the Texas City Dike to take photos and have what I call ahhhh therapy. Put my worries on the waves. I've taken so many sunrise/sunset photos here. I've taken so many shots from land looking out towards the water. I've tried to talk some of the shrimp boat captains into taking me out in the water to get shots from the water towards the land as well as some of the tugboat captains however it's not allowed. So I have to drive the 8 mile long dike and this is what I got...Time
I'm usually there at all times of the day. I believe this was taken after 1pm and before 5pmLighting
I use natural lighting as much as possible.Equipment
The only equipment I have is my Android phoneInspiration
I can't say what inspired me to take this particular photo. My inspiration came to me several years ago when I saw a photo of a snail eating grass. I wanted to take a photo like that. Taking photos is something that I can't help myself, I HAVE to take them. It's my stress relief!Editing
I don't recall doing any filters on this particular photo. I try not to use filters but every now and then I'll play with the filters. In my camera bag
I don't own any equipment...yet. I used and currently use cell/Android phones. Different brands.Feedback
If something catches your eye take a photo. Always try to get unusual perspectives, think outside the box. I don't even see a box!
