I was driving Boreas Pass after work one day to scout locations, I drove about half way up the pass before turning around so I could get back down to the lake to shoot the sunset. As I was coming down I saw this vista from one of the switchbacks. I quickly forgot about my plans to head to the lake and decided to set up here, hoping for some good sunset colors. I'm sure glad I decided to call an audible because the colors ended up being fantastic!
