Location
The photo was taken from the static caravan we were staying in Camping Moraira in Moraira which is situated North of Benidorm in the province of Alicante.Time
This was taken on the 29/09/2016 @ 06:56-- which has been always my best time for me to take photos as everyone is still asleep and one does not get bothered with interference. I really do love that time of the day--so peaceful!!!!Lighting
As I was shooting into the sun I had to change the setting a few times, I should mention that I had been shooting the rising sun everyday for about a week before I got this shot , I had a rough idea of what was required and therefore could do the changes as quickly as possible.Equipment
This was shot with Canon 70D and Sigma 150-600mm on a tripod.Inspiration
As I am an early rise even on holidays I had noticed the sun was rising way later than me and therefore had time to go to the beach and get back to the camping before shooting sunrises. It became a routine for me to shoot the event on a daily base as each day was a different outcome until the moment came.Editing
I wanted to show the world what I saw that morning and therefore only a little tweaking with the highlights and shadows. In my camera bag
First goes in the Canon 70d with the 24-105mm permanently on, then the 70-200mm 4.0. I will also put in the Sigma 105mm for the macro shoot. Accessories will include batteries and charger, cleaning equipment and the tripod.Feedback
No two sunrises are the same even on the same day, therefore my advise is that practise as mush as possible as the window of opportunity is only open for a few minutes at a time. As my missus tells me time and time again this is a game of patience.
