My first apartment, home away from home. It’s C1970. Sully and I had recently papered the living room in a black and white stripe for a Deco feel, further emphasized by the metal hospital bed in the alcove, painted black and with vintage pillows, used as seating. Just above the low semi-circular pink table, a poster advertisment of Twiggy with all the wording blocked out hangs on the wall behind a round, smoked glass screen from an old TV, with a small photo of my Aunt Jo. Pink and silver deco-inspired, but probably a reproduction, chalkware with current repro pin-up matchbooks, and a silver framed graduation portrait of an interesting unknown, from a time unknown, are on the table. The reflections in the glass show period lamps and day light through blinds and hand-crocheted curtains from the windows.
High camp!

Chicago, Near Division and Ashland, IL, USA.
Camera unknown, just don’t remember, 400 speed film. I did all my work with 400 asa film and available lighting, loved the grainy texture.
